If you thought life was hard for a 9th grader, welcome to the world of Peter Parker! He not only has to do tons of homework and help his Aunt May make ends meet, but also has to battle super-villains as the crime-fighting Spider-Man! Things start looking up when Peter snags a part-time job as a photographer and joins the school play?along with his best friends, Marry Jane Watson and Harry Osborn. Just when Peter starts getting comfortable, a new menace named Doc Ock starts terrorizing the city, and it's up to Spider-Man to stop him. The opening of the school play provides the setting for the big showdown between Doc Ock and Spider-Man. It's mayhem as Peter does his best to protect his friends and family as his amazing alter ego. With great power comes great responsibility, and Peter soon learns that the life of a super hero isn?t always super! This is a middle grade novel.
